Planning a future in the Beauty Industry after June 2020

Time will never be the same. I’m kind of ok with that fact. I believe my industry was getting a bit cray cray. We have all had to stop. Re-evaluate every aspect of everything. So much to take in. My plan is to try my best to not get overwhelmed by it all. Take things up n stride. Don’t panic. Be kind and trustworthy. Only give information I’m 100% about.
The neat idea I’ve heard was from Nick Arrojo. He owns salons in New York. He suggest that we all do make-overs on Dr. and Nurses. No more Red Carpet for Celebrity’s. These events can be to honor our first responders. I for one will be honored to treat twice a month. Please reach out if you would also like to be involved?

It’s not a bad thing. IT IS WHAT IT IS.

I mentioned in my previous post that it was such a pleasure to go to a ‘proper’ salon again. I haven’t been to my hairdresser in Lagos for quite a long time – mostly because we haven’t really gone out much lately, but also because… Well… he’s a bit of a twat. I went to get my highlights done just before Christmas and I came home looking like a bloody tiger. My hair was orange! Apart from that (and I can’t remember if I’ve written about this before), one of the last times I…
